Using the AirTV (black box), in order to access your DVR content, you would need to have your device connected to the internet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You need an antenna, it will not DVR anything from the internet. So yes will work if you do not have internet access. I use mine on our home wifi network. So the antenna connects to AirTV box which is then connected with an ethernet cable to my wifi router, then all my devices on wifi can access the antenna. If you don't have a wifi network, your TV will need an ethernet port which many of the new ones do. I talk to mine through the SlingTV app, but there is an AirTV app for your mobile device you might be able to use. I would definitely do more research before I tried to use one without a wifi network.

You also need internet since you'll still need to sign into your account on the app every time you use it. I highly recommend not buying this product and suggest that you first read my review if you are still undecided. Hope this helps.
