AirTV doesn’t have a built in antenna. You need to attach an antenna to pick up local Over-the-air channels. You can then have Sling integrate the local channels into the Sling program guide so that all channels are available in one place.

It then wirelessly transmits those channels through your Wifi and you can then view them through Sling (but note that they'll be scattered among the offerings in your guide rather than grouped together, although you can opt to see only Over the Air channels in your Sling guide if you so choose).

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need to provide an antenna. The good news is, you can place this box with the attached antenna in a good location for receiving signal, if you connect to your network via wifi. If you connect to your network via ethernet, you will also need the ethernet connection nearby.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The previous comment is spot on - the device is not an antenna itself, but interfaces with one to stream the channels received to other devices. They may be accessed either through the Sling or AirTV app. We would recommend checking out the product page on our site for more details: https://www.airtv.net/products/airtv
