• The defender series is thick but if you want a clip to wear on your belt its your best option to protect your phone. If you want a thinner case purchase the commuter or the symmetry otterbox case.

• Some changes have been made by Otterbox in iPhone 7 case. It is definitely better now but not much thinner.

• The defender series is still very thick but the commuter isn't. I have an iPhone 7 and it's barely there.
