• YES you do! Let me be clear, you can NOT use this case with a glass screen protector. I made the mistake of applying one after I had the case and it messed up the case entirely. I had to press extra hard for it to register anything and Touch ID did not work as well with both on. The case is designed to mold to the frame of the original iPhone 8, the extra half a millimeter makes a huge difference!!! Do NOT use this case AND an additional glass screen protector PLEASE

• No you do not have to remove your screen protector. I have a Zagg screen protector on and this case on my daughter’s phone.

• I’m not sure that you have to take off your screen protector, but it does have a protector built into it for the screen already.

• As your screen protector is not necessary with this otter box you do not have to remove it.

• That's the whole Idea to have a reliable break proof Phone protector that's also efficient to use. once you load your Phone, you are good to go. You only take the Otter Case off for instance, when you want to clean the inside of the Otter Case. BUY IT !
