This case has no cover on the speaker and port for the lightening cable, but I love how well it covers the phones bezel while still being stylish

The charge opening is open and not closed off as some other otter box cases are.

Yes - it's an open space with no cover. That's great because that's the place I've always had issues with. The plug cover always seems to wear out.
