This case has a magnet built into the back of the case that works with compatible MagSafe accessories. I currently have a MagSafe car vent mount/charger and this case stays connected to it great, even on bumpy roads.

It is for an Apple brand induction charger called MagSafe. If you don’t use that kind of charger you don’t need this case.

It is made for iPhone 12 to use with MagSafe charging and MagSafe products that stick to phone using magnet. It only works with iPhone 12 phones
