Q: Questionhow long will the ice last in this cooler, with the lid only been opened about twice daily ?
Asked by latergator.
- A:Answer I own the 25 quart and the 45 quart. The answer somewhat depends upon the location (in the shade or not) and the temperature where the cooler is located. The company rates their coolers at 14 days. I certainly have NOT had that success. In fairness, is their rating based on a cooler with ice whereby the location is in a "cool" Colorado (Otter location) or where? I'm in "hot" Dallas-FortWorth, TX. Summertime and in the shade, --- 4-5 days maximum. Summertime and in no shade, --- 2-3 days maximum. You can extend these times by about 3-5 days if you supplement the ice with a frozen block (you know those rubbermaid and other brands of approximately 1.5" x 5" blue blocks of liquid you freeze in the freezer) each day starting day 1. Also, when the ice melts, extremely cold melted water does a pretty good job keeping your drinks and whatnot COLD. Overall, I like the product. It does not perform per their advertisement. But, it does perform. It is also "made in the USA!" (Made in USA is one of the reasons I bought this product over the competition.

Q: QuestionWhat does this do to justify the cost ($155 Deal of the Day)? Does it plug in or is it just an ice chest?
Asked by MikeC.
- A:Answer Keeps things cold longer than a basic cooler, better plastic, better hinges, better locks, sealed cover, 2inches of insulation. If you only use a cooler for a few drinks at a birthday party you might not want to spend the money.

Asked by Nickname.
- A:Answer Not enough for people like us. You would get laughed out of any legit tailgate if you turned up with a cooler like this.

Q: QuestionWhy don't they make this in a 65 quart version? And if they did, would they still give you the cutting board or is this the only version with the cutting board?
Asked by AARON.
- A:Answer This does not come with a cutting board it just comes with the Bottle Opener and there is a 65 Quart version available.

Q: QuestionI just purchased the 25 qt version. It arrived with box destroyed but appears that cooler isn't damaged. I have a bottle opener only. Were other attachments included and are missing or does it just include bottle opener? Ex. cutting board, etc...
Asked by Joe797.
- A:Answer I as well just purchased the 25 quart and mine did not even come in a box, now is pre scuffed and banged around. As for the accessories I can confirm that the 25 quart only comes with the bottle opener. The inner shelf and divider only come with 45 and up.
