Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It is weighted down. It has a diameter of about 4 inches. I have never knocked mine down. I tapped the head lamp when positioned at 90 degrees and it holds up.

Lamp is very stable but you could probably knock it over with a baseball bat or a well placed kick. Seriously, the neck and light are solid but very light, unless you have it stretched out horizontally, it is more than adequate.
