However, real battery life is dependent on a number of factors, such as local weather, the number of events captured, and the frequency of activation. To charge the battery for your Ring Outdoor Cam Plus, Battery, remove the Quick Release Battery Pack from the device and connect it to a common micro-USB cable, such as the orange one included in your Ring box. Simply plug it into any USB power source. Having a second battery is optional, but it allows you to swap batteries instantly so your camera stays online while the first one is charging.
