- Answer Hello. The unit cannot be mounted, as it is not designed this way. It can be installed into a cabinet opening using the compatible trim kit NN-TK81KCS, or placed on the countertop as recommended in the manual. -G

- Answer Definitely need some space on both sides for air vents on each side. Mine is also in built in unit 32 inches width works well.

QuestionI am currently using a micro/conv combo sharp carosel. I am on my second one so they don't last more than 5 yrs. I was looking at this one and wonder if I can put this one in the cabinet space I am using now and not have it on my counter.

- Answer Hi Maggie! The outside dimensions of the NN-CD87KS are the following: a width of 22 1⁄16”, a height of 13 33⁄64”, and a depth of 17 23⁄32”. For proper operation, the oven must have sufficient air flow. Allow 6 inches of space on the top of the oven, 4 inches at back, and 2 inches on both sides. If one side of the oven is placed flush to a wall, the other side or top must not be blocked. -G

QuestionI just unboxed my Panasonic Home Chef microwave oven and it is very lopsided. I have tried turning the feet on the bottom and nothing happened. How do I level it? It is too uneven to ignore and I don't want to have to prop it up on something.

QuestionWhy does Panasonic make this great device, yet only provides for a 24” trim kit? Most people will want a 27” or 30” to match other appliance widths. BTW, Panasonic’s website is useless!

QuestionWhy is the model # in the description different from the model number that is listed for the product? Is this just a typo? I don't want to order if this fi the trim kit won't work.

- Answer I remember the model number listed on the tag on the shelf at the Best Buy Store where the microwave convection was located was a little different from the one on the box but the salesman scanned both numbers and it came up the same product. Model number on owners manual is NN-CD87KS. Its a nice product however we have it sitting up high on a microwave cart and the cord was a little short so we had to improvise a little. If its going on the counter you should be fine.

- Answer Its worthless for a toaster. It can toast bread but it gets crumbs everywhere and then u have to wait until it cools down, if you ned to use the microwave.
