Hi! Yes, you can turn the HDR to off. -A

Yes you have to go to settings ( display ) it has several modes like dolby vision / HDR / and believe "auto" however don't forget what is the most important is the television and the processor that drives it your TV is over 3 years old just leave it in "auto"
