“Does this player play 4k and UHD Blu Ray movie/tv show discs?? Also does it require a 4k supporting output for the scaled down UHD Blu Ray or could I swap it between a 4k and non 4k tv”

Thank you for reaching out! The unit is able to play 4k Blu-Ray discs if the TV connected to the player supports 4k video as well. To enjoy images in 4k60p, you need a HDMI cable that supports 18Gbps. Lastly, if you would like to view Ultra HD Blu-Ray content in 4k/HDR, connect to the HDMI terminal of a device that supports HDCP 2.2, 4k/60p (4:4:4), and HDR signals that meet Ultra HD Blu-Ray standards.
