• Yes, after an exhaustive search I found a corded phone with answering machine that mounts flush on the wall like a traditional phone. It's well done, the bump on the back that props it up when used on a desk, pops off. There is also another place lower on back to attach it to to stabilize phone when wall mounted. And the display pad can also be pushed flush against phone. Nice and compact too.

• It comes equipped with a wall mount adapter in the base and specific instructions with pictures how to do it, on pages 65-66 of the Panasonic Operating Manual.
