- Answer We do not recommend connecting two base units to the same telephone line. If you are looking to expand your telephone system, the best course of action would be to add more handsets to an existing base.

- Answer Yes, with one exception. Had issue with the Arris SBV3402 modem where i would incorrectly get a voice mail message waiting. I tried an Arris SBV2402 which didn't exhibit this issue. Sounds like an Arris firmware problem, but the Arris agent agent I talked to said it was a Comcast problem. I have the Panasonic KX-TGE275S. Your unit may not exhibit this issue, but just be aware if you have this modem, -Joe
