• A:Answer Hello Dom! The base unit has a speaker phone and a mute button so the handset can stay in the cradle while the speaker phone is active on the base BUT if you are not near the base unit and you just have one of the cordless phone and the smaller cradle, the handset cannot stay on the charger while using the speaker phone on a call. Q: QuestionDoes the handset ring as well as the base unit?

Q: QuestionWhen using the Call Block feature - does the phone still actually ring?I think i've read that the phone will ring a few times, while it searches the Block List, and then it will reject the call. That kind of defeats the purpose a little bit. I'd rather not be disturbed at all by a number that i've placed into the Block List. Does it ring at all on my end - Or is it just on the Callers end? Am i misunderestanding any of this??

• A:Answer Hi lmb2, When a call is received, the unit rings for a short time while the caller is being identified. If the phone number matches an entry in the call block list, the unit sends out a busy tone to the caller, and then disconnects the call.

• A:Answer Hi, you can purchased extra handset. The compatible model of handsets are KX-TGA659, KX-TGA410 or KX-TGA660. You just need to register them to the base of KX-TG6591T.
