I have a 5 year old set like this and the thing I hate is looking up stored phone numbers takes forever to scroll through the stored numbers Is this newer model faster Also will this phone alow me to transfer automatically all my contacts to the new phone null

if You link Your cell phone to these phone it will let You import every phone number I did it with 58 names and numbers sill how panasonic doesn't know this !!!!  Saved me hours.

The phonebook functions similarly on both units. To expedite number searches, you can simply press the key corresponding to the desired letter, which will direct you to names starting with that letter in the list. Additionally, it's important to note that phonebook entries cannot be transferred from one base unit to another. 1. Sean I have no problems looking up stored numbers, in fact it's a lot easier to me.
2. I haven't read in the instruction booklet where you can Transfer Your Contacts so I have not tried.
