• A:Answer I do wear hearing aids for mild-moderate hearing loss. I'm functional in that if I don't wear the hearing aids I can talk to a clerk in a store but often have to ask that person to repeat themselves or "yell at me" - especially if they're masked or behind a plexiglass barrier. With that said, I wasn't wearing my hearing aids when I set them up for my in-laws and I didn't have a problem hearing these phones from the handset. Speakerphone from a handset was a little quieter but I didn't check to see if the volume was all the way up. This phone also can apparently connect to some Bluetooth headsets so if you've a headset that works for you, that may be an option. I didn't check that feature - my in-laws are in their 90's and things like Bluetooth devices, cellphones, etc are beyond their capability.
