QuestionWe brought the KX-TGD864S phone. Everything works but it will drop the call when I am talking to the person for a while. It has happened 5 times and our older 12 year 6.0 Panasonic phones didn't do that. Does anyone have this problem. Can it be fixed.

- Answer Hello! The manual is available online at the following website: https://help.na.panasonic.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/KXTGD86x_PNQX9141ZA_ENG_ESP.pdf . If you want to turn on the answering machine, you need to press the ANSWER ON/OFF button on the main base unit. Also, if you want to record your own greeting message, you need to take a handset, then press MENU, then the key # and enter code 302. After a beep sounds, speak clearly about 20 cm (8 inches) away from the microphone (2 minutes max.). and press STOP to stop recording. In the end, you need to press OFF to exit the programming mode. - Answer Hi! You can press the UP arrow repeatedly to increase the volume to the desired setting during a call. We also recommend our amplified phone systems: KX-TGM420, KX-TGM430 and KX-TGM450. These phone systems boost volume for caller voice amplification up to 40 dB and set ringer tone volumes up to 100 dB. Hope this helps! -C

- Answer Hours? I can talk for at least 2 hours almost straight and the level doesnt really change. If left off the charger the level will probably take a day or so before it changes. We have had very good luck with our Panasonic phones in the past and that is why we bought this brand again.

- Answer Hi! If the messages are on your answering machine, you can delete them one by one (in case there are some you wish to keep) or all of them at once. To delete them one by one, press the PLAY button on the base and then the ERASE button. If you want to erase all, press MENU # 325 on the handset > confirm with YES. -M

- Answer Hello! Using a touch-tone phone, you can call your phone number from outside and access the unit to listen to messages or change answering system settings. The unit’s voice guidance prompts you to press certain dial keys to perform different operations. It is possible to repeat the message during playback, skip the message during playback, play all messages, play new messages, turn answering machine off, erase currently playing message, erase all messages and end remote operation. - Answer In order for the Link2Cell function to work, you need to pair your cellphone with the Panasonic telephone system via Bluetooth. It will not pick up a signal from all the phones, just the ones that are linked. -M
