• When I first bought this item, it came with 4 handsets, one on the base and 3 expandable. I had purchased the extended warranty and the phone stopped working. I took it into my local Best Buy and they called around for a replacement. They located one at another store. When I got it home it had 5 handsets, one on the base and 4 expandable. I was also confused. I am sorry if I have added to your confusion.
