- Answer No, you can configure the phone for cellular use only, but then the answering system won't answer or record cellular calls. They will go to voice mail, and you can access that.

- Answer I purchased this phone. It came with one cordless. When I purchased it, Best Buy told me I could purchase additional cordless ones. I have not had a need to do that. Just sharing what I was told.

QuestionI know this model is older than KX-TGF882 (which comes with 2 expandable hand sets.) What features does model KX-TGF882 have that this one (KX-TGF 380M) not have? Is there a reason I should buy the newer model? (I dont need two hand sets.)

QuestionThank you all for helping me. One more question. If the light stops flashing how do you know that there is still a message on the machine. If one person listens and it is not for them, how does someone else know there is a message on the machine?

- Answer Dear customer, if someone else listened to the message already and didn't delete it, you can listen to it again by pressing MENU and #324 to play all messages. To listen to the new messages you can press MENU and #323. If you want to delete the messages after you listen to them you can press MENU and #325 ( which erases all of the answering system's messages).

- Answer Dear customer, the light indicator stays on until you have listened to the message.
