QuestionPanasonic lists this model as " splashproof / dustproof" but BB shows it as NOT water resistant? Is this an error, or is there a difference?

- Answer This is not an error. There is a difference between splashproof, water resistance and waterproof. For example, splash resistance means is can withstand smalls splashes of water, water resistance means it can withstand being in small amounts of water and waterproof means it can be submerged in water.

For products that are Mail in service, an online repair request must be submitted. Our service center is Professional Electronics, located in Florida. - Answer Hello, when purchased as new, the product has a manufacturer warranty of one-year mail-in service repair, applied from the moment of purchase. You can also register with Lumix Pro Service for a 3-year warranty (2 additional years, besides the one, applied from the moment of purchase). -C
