“Drum & Refill Do you have to replace the drum each time or just refill the toner, also how many pages of copy do you get per refill / drum replacement ?”

i have had this for 10 months and it is not telling me my toner is low. i printed quite a bit. this is also the toner that came with it when i purchased it. i will be getting a new toner soon. roughly 1500 pages and mostly documents. minumal graphics.

Note: Toner cartridge life depends on the amount of content in a printed document and varies in actual usage. If you want to reduce toner consumption, set the toner save setting to ON (feature #482 on page 58 on your manual). The number of pages changes with the depth, thickness and size of the characters. Drum Life: The maximum drum life is approx. 6,000 pages. Note: To extend the life of the drum cartridge, the power switch should never be turned OFF immediately after printing. Leave the power turned ON for a minimum of 30 minutes after printing.
