“I bought this player yesterday. Its not connecting with Sonos arc sound bar through audio only HTMI port. No audio output. Can some one confirm on this?”

You answered your own question Sonor ARC doesn't work with the Blu Ray player, Connect to your TV or AVR Receiver

Run separate outputs from your Panasonic- audio hdmi directly directional into your sound bar, and video hdmi directional directly into your tv ports 1 or 3. Run eArc from soundbar to tv in port 2. Also check source on your remote and try them all
