Will this play all country codes, ie europe, asia? null

Since 4K UHD discs are region free, 4K discs will play from any region on the UB820. Blu-ray discs are limited to the player’s country region code. In the US, the UB820 will only play Region A blu-ray discs and Region 1 dvds. If you want to play blu-rays and dvds from any region, you’ll have to buy a region free modded version of this 4K player.
