It appears it will HOWEVER the app experience is EXTREMELY slow, Netflix took forever to load and I gave up waiting TBH. If you're looking at dropping 500 on a blu ray then you should seriously consider dropping the money on a roku or using built in TV applications if you have a newer TV (ie the newer lgs and sonys, no experience with current Samsung) as the experience is better. It's a great blu ray player and it's just very focused on being just that, a great blu ray player. Also for some reason the Netflix app defaulted to constant dolby vision output for the menus and etc, I've never seen this behavior as every other device I've used it sticks to an sdr signal in the menus.
