My main concern is picture quality. Have Sony A8H. I read that the main difference between the ub820 and ub900 is metal vs plastic and the audio. Is there any difference in picture quality between the two? null

DP-UB9000 is better suited for audio enthusiasts that demand a higher audio quality., it has 32-bit/ 768 kHz and DP-UB-820 has 32-bit/ 192 kHz samples per second taken from the digital audio file. DP-UB9000 is better suited for audio enthusiasts that demand a higher audio quality listening. As far as video processing, on both of the units is identical. However, DP-UB9000 will not play Super Audio CDs, DVDs, and won't play MKV or BDMV folders DP-UB9000 is also THX certified.
