Run it through your receiver. Your TV does not have the processing power to give you great audio. I have the Onkyo TX-NR797 Smart AV 9.2 Channel Receiver with 4K Ultra HD | Dolby Atmos | AirPlay 2 | IMAX Enhanced (2019 Model), and this unit really helps the audio tracks pop out with more clarity... with movies that support that type of audio track.

To prevent any issues with full 4K or UltraHD Blue Ray I ran directly to my Samsung on a separate HDMI input port, video & audio. I have a Yamaha 7.2 AV Receiver which is fed from TV with optical cable when using this configuration. Otherwise my other AV boxes, cable etc. have HDMI going to AV receiver and common output to TV. Note that I don’t use the TV speakers under any configuration. Hope this helps.
