• You have to find a "Switched" 12 volts. The "BATT" connection is for an always on 12 volts. The other connection must have a switched Voltage. When you turn on the ignition, the little black box knows to change from "Parked" mode to "Normal" mode.

• Yes it work very well. I have mine wired in my Big Rig to the fuse box. As soon as I cut the ignition off the parking mode kicks in
