This does not seem to be the case with mine, when I put it to sleep all I do to wake it up is just move the mouse left right and at times I right click the mouse and it wakes up. Might want to check change your batteries on your mouse, and keyboard. Also try to wake it up by pressing any key on your keyboard.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought this computer 3 weeks ago and have not experienced this problem. My computer will wake up by moving the mouse. So far I am very happy with this computer. My only problem with it is how noisy it is. The noise emitting from the back of the screen is annoying. After 3 weeks however, I am starting to get used to it.

If it is set to go to sleep or turn off the display after a certain time of not being used it should wake up with the mouse. You can go into the power management settings of the computer and fine tune it to the settings you want. You can make it so it will respond to the mouse and wake up.
