It depends what you mean by transfer. If you're referring to files like pictures/music/movies and the likes then yes absolutely without any issues. If you're referring to specific software that you use I would advise checking with your software provider to see if it is compatible with windows 10. That said if you're not utilizing anything specific and only general applications like a web browser or music player then you should have absolutely no issues moving over to windows 10. I would urge moving over to a newer version of windows regardless due to windows vista no longer being supported by microsoft with patches(security or otherwise) or general support.
