“I read all the questions and answers, and there seems to be a discrepancy between two of the answers to the question I have. Because the cd/DVD player is vertical, can I successfully run this tower on its side? One said yes, one said no. Please help.”

My opinion is, the tower has vents all around it and it is meant to stand on it's feet. Do you have to lay it on its side for some reason? The vertical cd/dvd slot works just fine the way it is. I have several of these and have never had a problem with the up and down layout of the cd/dvd player.
