Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you for your question! I am glad to hear your old model served you well and understand you are concerned about if you can experience the same with your new HP. HP is the largest personal-computer manufacturer in the world! I invite you to really spend time and test drive your new computer. I believe you will really come to like the HP machine and the components inside are top notch (I am sure by now you have witnessed the blazing speed of the solid state drive). HP is really big on durability. Often they subject models to 120,000 hours of testing before release. This testing can include dropping it multiple times, covering it in dust, or subjecting the device to the sort of atmospheric pressure commonly found at 15,000ft. I doubt you would be doing any of that with your desktop but it is pretty neat the amount of attention that HP puts into their products. Once again, I hope you will continue to try out your computer and make the decision based on what you feel is best!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My Hp pavilion dv7 laptop just died for the second time. Paid $800+, 3 years later it just died. Ended up being a design flaw. HP repaired for >$150 and I asked if same flawed motherboard would be installed. I was assured no. Here I am 3 years later with the same dead laptop. This would be a good deal, except I don't trust HP. To get help you have to post on their forum and HOPE someone from HP sees your post and contacts you.
