I have found it to work everything I have tried it on, including you tube, amazon and Netflix with out any issues except the buttons are small and can be touchy. So push lightly on the buttons. This info is on the small remote not the large one. I HOPE THIS HELPS. I am very happy with this controller

Tapping the PS button will turn on the PS4; when the PS4 is on, pressing and holding the PS button will bring up the Quick Menu, from which you can command the system to enter rest mode, turn off the PS4, or restart the PS4.
