QuestionDoes this remote connect using bluetooth? Or is there any remotes for the xbox one that do not use IR?

- Answer Thank you for your question, EKlinck. This remote uses IR to communicate with the console, not Bluetooth. I'm not familiar with other Xbox One remotes that would function using Bluetooth. -PDP Customer Experience

- Answer I believe you can control your tv if you can sync it with one of the setting options on the Xbox, if not I think you can just power off and control the volume.

- Answer basic volume, up/down only. no independent power or input select which is a pain. This remote is specifically made for the OneGuide XBox TV viewing control application

QuestionI have kids, the XBox 1S remote is lost. We've been "using" the gaming remotes but they don't have the abilities of a regular remote... no fast forward, rewind, pause. Suggestions for a replacement remote that will work with BluRay portion of xBox?

- Answer I recommend the TALON MEDIA REMOTE FOR XBOX ONE. I use it for the Blu Ray and Netflix controller.
