“Does this remote connect using bluetooth? Or is there any remotes for the xbox one that do not use IR?”

• Thank you for your question, EKlinck. This remote uses IR to communicate with the console, not Bluetooth. I'm not familiar with other Xbox One remotes that would function using Bluetooth. -PDP Customer Experience

• Insignia made one for a while. Might be able to find one on Amazon. I returned mine for the PDP bc it would freeze all the time but I do miss not needing to worry about IR/line of sight

• I'd have to totally assume its IR because it requires no pairing at all.
