Great remote for use on Xbox One, for streaming or watching Blu Rays. Light weight and lights up when buttons are pressed. A lot easier to use for streaming instead of a Xbox One controller. I recommend this.

For a moment I thought it wasn’t going to work as expected, then when I started using it, it made my life a bit easier, no need to use more than one controller to turn on my setup, since the TV turns on in sync with the xbox and viceversa, thanks ;)

Controller would ff when setting down. Reason for this purchase. Only knock illumination shuts down quickly.

I absolutely love this remote. I purchased it because I’m a PC gamer, and started to only use my Xbox One S as a device to stream Netflix, Amazon Video, etc. It is so much better than using the Xbox controller, as the batteries drain, etc. This remote paired up so easy in a matter of seconds, and works flawlessly. It can even control the volume. I highly recommend this remote for all media needs on the Xbox One. Totally worth $20

If you will be using your Xbox as your central multimedia hub i.e. not just or mostly for gaming, this will come in handy and is the best choice. I have my Xbox One X set up in my living room and connected my cable box to the Xbox, meaning that for anyone to watch tv, you have to turn on the Xbox. For ease of use I set up my Xbox to immediately open up the OneGuide App, which is the app to view tv through the cable box. This makes it easier for anyone wanting to watch tv, to use this remote and instantly open up the OneGuide App without extra steps. You can customize the setting so that when you turn on the Xbox using this media remote, you instantly go to Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, or Disney+ among other video streaming apps. Overall, the feel and design of the remote is also of great quality. The media remote has back lights that automatically turn on momentarily when you move it ever so slightly. This is especially helpful when watching things in the evening. The remote also has a nice soft shell texture. If you won't be using your Xbox for video streaming or other multimedia purposes very often, I would not recommend this product. I mostly purchased this for my other family members who don't play games to easily enjoy these other apps outside of gaming without having to use the traditional Xbox gaming controllers.

Before I purchased this remote, I had to use my husbands controller with the tv (this was how we watched Disney +). It was such a headache using the controller, and then I found out about the Talon remote. I really wish I knew about it sooner. It has that matte silicone feel and looks great. Fairly easy set up through YouTube.

Overall I like and it does its job well, from the backlight to remapping the controller inputs intuitively. The arrow buttons, though, are hard to press, spongy without a click, and half sunken into the body so it is genuinely hard to press. It also has volume buttons but no instructions in the packaging on how to program, but I can probably find them online I’m sure.

This little remote is so awesome. It makes watching apps like Netflix,Amazon, Hulu, Disney+, etc so much easier than having to use the Xbox game remote. It also is easily synced with your TV so you can control the sound, source, and power of your TV. I recommend the product 100%

Since getting this I now use my xbox one s as my primary streaming box for all my apps. The upscaling and quality of the picture is noticeably better than other streaming solutions I’ve tried. The Talon2 controls my tv and sound as well as the xbox. Build quality is excellent. The only minor hitch is that that batteries could last longer.

I love this remote, it makes using the Xbox as a streaming box entirely enjoyable. That said, however, it's got a lot of real estate that never gets touched. The number pad is unnecessary for me because I don't have cable or satellite television. Also the play stop pause fast forward rewind, all extraneous as the directional pad on the remote accomplishes all these things. Having all the extra buttons is not a reason to knock the rating though as I should have thought more about what I actually needed. To be fair, I think what sold me and is quite a nice quality of life is the backlit buttons. Remote feels nice to the touch and is a great addition to my Xbox ecosystem but if they offered a similarly backlit remote in the style of a Roku or Firestick remotes I would definitely buy it!

This remote is so much easier to use to view streaming content rather than using a game controller. My only beef with it is that for some reason it won’t turn on my insignia TV. Turns on my 2002 Sony surround sound just fine tho. So yeah I like the remote I just still need to use two, which is mildly frustrating.

Everything worked out of the box. It even controlled tv without any set up. The remote does have a backlight but I would not rely on it. Range is decent but nothing to brag about. For the money it gives you plenty.

Since we use the xbox for streaming we needed a remote vs a controller. This works well - just sometimes we have to make sure it is aimed directly to the xbox device to function appropriately. Otherwise better than fighting over the controller :)

Use all the time. Stream mostly everything I watch on my Xbox. Very easy to use! Backlit buttons makes easy to use in the dark. Works very well!

The finish and feel the the remote in it soft touch matte rubber is fantastic. It also has a very elegant glow in the dark feature which every single remote should have. Whenever you touch it the backlight turns on. So its totally effortless to use it a dark room setting. You also don't have to go threw any hassle of syncing the remote as it auto pairs. The only room for improvement is that I wish it had a mic built in so you could use voice features for all your modern apps. I use my Xbox for everything as my older smart tvs functions are completely useless. However searching for things on youtube and other places where i'd be able to use voice commands isnt accessible threw this remote due it having no mic. I'd have gladly paid more for one with voice chat.

I use my Xbox One S as a media center, so having a remote like this makes controlling things much MUCH easier. There was no setup required, literally just pressed the main button and it worked right out of the box. It has lots of useful buttons. The build quality is really good (has a rubbery grip feel to it). It fits good in your hand too. The back lighting on the buttons when you pick up the remote is nice, but I wish it stayed on longer (goes out after like a second). Anyway, no real negatives to speak of, only praise from this happy customer.
