I play at lot of XBOX and also use it to watch Netflix and Youtube, but my fiancee had more difficulty navigating the traditional remote because she doesn't play at all. I decided to get her something that was more familiar that she could use and she loves it. I personally love the feel of the buttons, it's got a softness to it that is very satisfying to press, and responds quickly when turning my XBOX on/off. Definitely glad I got this.

Second time buying this item, like the quality. It works well with the Xbox and is easy to use.

I purchased the X Box One S a few years ago, mostly for the 4K blu ray disc player. Also use it for streaming services. My TVs are all smart, but the X Box has better processors so they all stream better and faster on the X Box in my opinion compared to my Smart Samsung TVs. Much easier to use these services and blu ray player with this remote. Very easy to use. Automatically programmed itself to the console and TV.

I bought this because it was a hassle using the XBOX controller to use the streaming services. Works great! Using the HDMI control I can also control the volume to my Sony TV without using the IR control out of the XBOX. If you use the streaming services on your xbox, this is a must! The back lit buttons are a huge plus and the remote has a rubber silicon type texture that's easy to grip. Very nice.

We cut the cable cord months ago and have been using our Xbox One to serve up our tv (YouTube TV, Prime, Hulu) but we've been using an Xbox controller to control things. Now that I have this remote, I realize I waited way too long. No more trying to pause a movie but having to wait for the sleeping controller to come back to life. Not to mention I won't burn through batteries so much now. Great purchase.

I would highly recommend this accessory to anyone that uses their XBOX as a streaming device as well. It allows you to interact with your XBOX to control your TV and other devices to enjoy entertainment options when not gaming. It beats having to use you gaming controllers just to watch TV or stream programs. Highly recommended accessory to add to your entertainment center if you have an XBOX.

I'm extremely happy that I don't have to use my controller anymore for my apps on the Xbox. This is a really nice remote which can be paired with your tv as well. One issue I have is that the backlights stay on for just a second so if it's dark in the room and you must push several keys you can't see what keys you're pushing and I have to use the light on my phone sometimes.

I was able to make my son's xbox my central media center integrating comcast, netflix, amazon videos and many other features like home automation ones. The only missing feature in my case was the microphone to send voice commands, which is supported by xbox. To be perfect it should have a keyboard on the back and connect through bluetooth instead of IR. I am very satisfied, specially I could retire my kids old xbox360, my blue-ray player and still use only one remote control and for a good price.

Soft touch remote has held up well to daily use. Note that it does require line of sight for use, so if the xbox is in a cabinet without glass you'll struggle with connection. The buttons all light up when it senses motion. Very helpful in a dark room. Cannot be used for playing games, but can be used for all other apps, netflix, youtube, etc.

I hate having to try and control the console with the game controller so this is a great work around! there nothing more annoying when the game remote automatically turns off and you have to go through the tun on processes just to try and pause a show or movie. It automatically lights up when you move it and the batteries last a pretty long time!

I purchased this remote so I can have an easier time when I watch my 4k movies on my Xbox one. This remote works great. I love how the buttons on the remote light up when you lift the remote. This is great when your watching movies with the lights out in the room. Its a very light weight remote also but feels very well made.

I use this on my Xbox One for my media watching, and I like that it senses I’ve picked it up and will backlight the buttons. I wish the light stayed on a little longer, and the the surface material wasn’t so prone to fingerprints, but I have no issues with its functionality or form otherwise.

I use both of my xbox ones as media centers 90% of the time and these remotes are great! my only gripe is typing on the on screen keyboard is really slow with this type of remote but its not a deal breaker for me. It does not need to be paired to your system, it seems to effect what ever system is in range.

Bought this to simplify use of the Xbox One for none gaming use by other members of the family who aren't use to the standard Xbox controller. Took no time to get it working and with the exception of Amazon Prime it works just fine. The problem with Prime is an Amazon issue not the hardware.

This makes watching discs and video apps on Xbox one much more pleasant than a game controller. It pairs easily and just plain works. Plus it lets you assign commands to some of the buttons. Want Netflix to have it’s own one touch button? Can do!

I had the Microsoft remote control that cost 3 times what this one did and it stopped working after a couple of years. This controller is so much easier to use and works great. I hope it lasts longer than Microsoft’s but at the cost, it is still better.

Very good quality feel. really nice to have a remote for the Xbox when watching blue ray movies. Having to use the controller was a pain. if you have an Xbox and use it for playing blue rays, you definitely want to get this remote

My DVD player broke and I started using my Xbox one to play movies. It worked well except for having to deal with the Xbox controller. This device solves that problem and turns the Xbox into an easy to use DVD player. Well worth the money.
