• I realize that this was submitted nine months ago, but the answer is no. I kept trying to connect it my 5Ghz network and having the setup process stall. As soon as I went to the 2.4Ghz it worked like a charm.

• The Label on the device makes no mention of the frequencies used to control it. I use 2.4 GHz for my wireless smart devices. I use Leviton Smart Switches in my house and all my research tells me that 5Ghz systems are compatible for wi-fi connected devices, and either 2.4 GHz or 5 GHZ will do the job, and control those devices. Best answer I can give is: 99% sure it compatible.
