• No tools necessary to tilt or swivel. Just pull and twist the TV as you like. It is very smooth and moves without much force needed, but also is stiff enough to hold in whatever position to you want it in.

• No, all you have to do is to loosen the swivel bolt by hand, very easy to do, and you can title it easily. It doesn't swivel from side to side. You can only tilt.
