A Roku remote with side controls will absolutely NOT fit in this Phillips Universal Remote. I just purchased the Phillips remote packaged by Best Buy with the Roku Voice Pro remote. Lo and behold, the Pro remote (with it's side volume controls) does NOT fit. Best Buy needs to stop pairing these 2 items together and needs to delete the 2 answers to this question which falsely claim it will fit.

Note that my Roku remote is the fairly slim style that accepts 2 AAA batteries, has tv power, volume up/down and mute. It does not have the headphone jack for private listening. To my knowledge I think that the majority if not all models of Roku remotes that are rechargeable and the ones that use the larger AA batteries versus the small AAA batteries will not fit into the Philips 4 device remote.
