“Can this be used if I have a Samsung TV.....that is 5 years old ? SECONDLY--Does it have a light that goes on when the Player is being used ? The power button...does it light up when you use the unit ?”

• Hello Lynnega, good you have sent us this question. The Philips - DVD Player with HD Upconversion BDP3502 should be connected to your television with a HDMI cable. As long as your television has a HDMI port it will be compatible. The power button does not light up when you press it. However, there is a small red light on the player which incicates it is connected to power while it is turned off. The green light is on when the player is being used. Hope this answers!
