“Is it possible to put these lights in a ceiling fan? This fan has 2 strings, one with fan speed and one controlling the lights. I am assuming I would just have to use the string to adjust the fan speed and always keep the lights on. Would this work?”

Yes this will work. I have hue lights in my ceiling fan I just leave the power on and control from my phone. You can also set a default color to use when l the lights get turned off and on from the light switch.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yup! Whenever I have a device that takes these types of bulbs, whether they be floor lamps, table lamps, ceiling fans, or whatever. I add these bulbs and leave the power on. And boom they work. On lights that take bulbs that do not have a "smart" replacement. I end up replacing the light switch itself for a smart light switch. Hope this helps!
