    • Answer Yes. Via the PhilipsHue app. It has an effects section that has the option “prism” in which it will automatically cycle through the color spectrum. It also has fireplace and candle flicker but that’s about it.

    • Answer Not sure...but you won't need the dimmer switch, as it's super simple to dim them in the app. I use Siri -- and I know you can use Alexa, too -- and say "Hey Siri. Make the Living Room lights 30%." You can get it granularly dimmed. 11%, 28%, 56% or whatever. I hope this answers your question. Good luck. I think it's an awesome product.
