You can pair remotes! There's a short video demonstrating this on the Hue website. If the dimmer came from a set, you need to reset it by using a paperclip or pin to hold down the reset button until the indicator LED flashes green and red. If it's a new remote, pull out the plastic tab in the battery compartment. Then put the remotes nose to nose and hold both on buttons until the indicator light on both remotes turn green, then pair the new remote with the existing bulbs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can hook up multiple lights to switches and multiple switches to lights so long as all the lights are hue lights.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Switches can be programmed to work with whatever lights you want. If you want to set up 5 dimmer switches to control a single light you can.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This item isn't actual wired into your house. It uses adhesive strips on the back of the mounting plate and can be placed anywhere since it has a battery.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes they can... U can control 10 lights with any switch... I'm looking to buy three switches... One for each side of my downstairs for the whites... And one the is programmed TO EVERY hue light as a master off switch upstairs... They allow you to select which (room setup) you want to control with which switch.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The dimmer switches have on/off and brighten/dim buttons. the on button is programmable with your Hue apps accessory setup to tell it what to do after 1 press through 5 presses, progressing through a different setting for each time you hit the button.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.not in the traditional sense where one switch is on and the other is off. When you have more than one hues switch controlling the same bulbs, on is always ON and off is always OFF so no mater how you turn on or off using one switch, it doesn't affect the other switch
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm guessing by a three-way switch, you mean mounting dimmer switches on opposite sides of the room, controlling the same light(s). I'm not sure if the bulbs can be *directly* paired with multiple remotes, that would require some research online. I can, however, say that using multiple remotes with the Philips Hue Bridge works great with groups of lights. Because they're simply sending a signal, pressing "on" using a second remote won't change anything if the lights are already on. No complicated toggle setup, they'll each work the same if you have one or five connected simultaneously. Using a third party app (iControlHue, sadly only available on iOS devices), I've even been able to set up complex rules for how switches work, allowing one switch to turn off a single room, or holding the button longer to turn off multiple rooms. Very, very handy!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Within the app, you tell the dimmer what lights (phillips hue) you want it to control. I dont think there are limitations.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. The bulb will respond to whichever dimmer/switch is being used - just don't try to use both at once. Also worth noting that when you turn the bulb on it will be at whatever brightness it was when turned off (regardless of which switch is used).
