• YES! I control my HUE LED bulbs with both Amazon Echo and Apple iOS devices (iPhone & iPad)!! Works GREAT!

• By itself, no; this is a standalone product unless you pair the bulb and remote to a Hue bridge. If you're adding this to your existing Hue system (or building a new Hue system), then yes, it works just like any other Hue bulb and is compatible with Amazon Echo.
