You need the bridge to connect with Google. All Hue lights need the bridge.

Yes, they work with Wi-Fi and Google... I have 30plus of these bulbs, along with a few other brands, and they are hands down the best...

It's actually bluetooth. So it'll connect to your phone or to the Hue hub. Alexa and Google can control it through your phone or through the Hue hub. I do recommend you measure the device you're going to put these bulbs into. They are long bulbs.
