You need the Hue bridge for proper installation. But yes, the plug into a regular power outlet.

It plugs into a regular wall socket. But you also need the IHue control box that lets your iPhone or other device control it.

Yes, a power adaptor is included, and you plug it into the wall. There is no switch on the lamp itself - you need to control it from a separate Hue switch, Hue app on your phone or tablet, Alexa/Google Home, etc.

Yes, I’ve Plug it in behind my 75 inch Sony. It gives the perfect lighting , I might go with another one.

Yes the hub plugs into a regular socket and any lamps that use the bulbs plug into a regular socket.
