The bulbs are designed to work on a non-dimmable switch. I swapped my dimmer out to play it safe because partial power could definitely damage the bulbs and they're not exactly cheap. Before the Hue lights I had Cree and GE LED lights which over a short period of time began flickering and burning out. There are designated LED dimmable switches, but if you're going to spend money to buy those, I would just swap out for a standard switch because these bulbs already dim and this switch is much cheaper
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's compatible as such and I had a similar setup. I did have a major buzzing sound that was almost unbearable at all dimming levels when I had the dimmers. Replaced them with regular switches and very happy with the product now
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It conflicted with mine. Very loud feedback regardless of what level I had the dimmer set to. I went ahead and resolved the issue by replacing the dimmer switch. I use my phone to dim and I also have the remote dimmer that came with one of the Lux bulbs. Kind of a pain as my wife says but no feedback from the lights.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it works but you need to put the dimmer at 100% on. You can dim the lights with the app.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. Hue bulbs have programmable dimming built in and do not work with other dimming switches.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Set the dimmer to 100 %, use the dim feature in the app to control brightness.
