A bridge is needed period, even running one bulb, to have it work as advertised otherwise it just turns on to full and off. One bridge controls up to 50 bulbs as stated in ad. One switch will control all lights set to that switch's group, which is set in app, up to 10 lights. If you have 10 bulbs in one "group" or "entertainment area" the switch will control them all.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The bridge/hub is needed to connect your lights to your home network. You can assign as many lights (up to 50 per bridge/hub) as you want (via the app) to one switch, so depending on how many rooms you have or switches per room you want... would be your answer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You only need one bridge for up to 50 lights.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need one starter pack that contains a bridge. Then you can add additional bulbs to the one bridge. So far, I have 7 bulbs attached to one bridge. I plan to add 8 more to the same bridge.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will need 1 bridge/hub to control your lights. Each bridge/hub can control up to 50 lights (bulbs, strips, etc.). You technically don’t need a light switch at all, the app will let you control all lights from your phone, or you can setup certain lights with a switch. Not sure how many lights 1 light switch can control; for example, if 1 light switch can control a lamp in one room and also lightbulbs set up somewhere else in the house.
