These are common A19 socket bulbs. Tungsten Halogen is a type of filament used in a specific type of light bulb. It's kind of like asking if a banana can be used in an apple. If your lamp, regardless of the bulb, takes an A19 bulb, then, yes.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Make sure you get the 3rd generation bulbs and that your halogen fixture uses the STANDARD screw-in bulb base. I have mine in a bathroom over the tub area. The colors are really nice to set the mood in the tub/shower. They are in a set of SEALED cans that previously held halogen bulbs. They are EXACTLY the same color tone and brightness as the bulbs they replaced and have the advantage that I can program many colors, (using the echo plus without the Phillips bridge). I am still experimenting and have found this set up to work well.
